Boarding Mission
Whether you’re headed off on a business trip, headed out for a much-needed vacation, or just want to give your “feathered kids” a chance to meet some new friends, we’d love to provide experienced care and the “home away from home” that your bird needs while you are away.
Offering high quality professional boarding in a clean, friendly, and comfortable environment. We have different areas that will meet the different needs of individual birds. Smaller birds are generally housed away from larger birds, and sensitive birds away from their noisier friends. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to make your bird more comfortable during their stay!
Our cage or yours? Though you are always welcome to bring your own, we also offer safe and suitable cages to fit a wide variety of birds. From small parrots to extra-large parrots, we are sure to have a suitable “second home” for while you are away. Feel free to also check out our toy and handmade perch selection to see if your bird could use something special until you return.
We encourage you to contact us as far in advance as possible to reserve your space as we do fill up, especially during the holidays and throughout the summer. We do our best to accommodate last minute boarders though, so don’t hesitate to give us a call. Especially in the event of an emergency!
Notice of Boarding Policy
We strive to provide the highest level of care for our boarding clients
Boarding will be charged as basic boarding or specialized boarding.
Basic boarding will cover cage cleaning, fresh water, Volkman seed mix or owner provided dry foods, fresh fruit and veggies.
Specialized boarding, the owner must bring own medication and/or complicated food preparations that involve thawing or heating of owner provided diet.
Requirements
In order to provide the best possible care for our flock, and to ensure the health and safety of all of our boarders, Feathers of A Flock requires a health examination to have been performed within 20 days before boarding.
Boarding Prices
Small Birds: $12.00 Day
(cockatiels, budgies, finches, canaries, parrotlets, lovebirds, etc.)
Medium Birds: $15.00 Day
(conures, quakers, amazons, African greys, caiques, etc.)
Large Birds: $20.00 Day
(large macaws, large cockatoo)
